    Greek School: Registration is open for our Greek School for the 2023-2024 school year! As one of the oldest programs in the area and the only Ellinomatheia test site in the DC metropolitan area, we continue to evolve our program to include HW help and Ellinomatheia prep.

    Paideia Preschool: The bilingual preschool program (Greek and English) is part of the mission of our Church and is offered to all families. There are two enrollment options, part-time (3 days/week) and full-time (5 days/week) for children between the ages of 2-5.

  • Welcome to the Hellenic Education Center of Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church.

    The Hellenic Education Center includes our afternoon and Saturday Greek School, offering innovative new programs to both children and adults and our wonderful Paideia Preschool providing pre-K bilingual (Greek and English) classes and instruction to preschoolers. We are also proud to be the only official examination center in Northern Virginia for the Ellinomatheia Exams, which provides certification for proficiency in the Greek language,  The HEC has been accredited by the Ministry of Culture, Education and Religious Affairs, and the Center for the Greek Language as an Examination Center for the Exams of Attainment in Greek Language.
